Za'atar and Labneh Toast

ingredients

  • 1 red onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon za’atar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 slices of The Rustik Oven Hearty Grains & Seeds Bread
  • Salt, pepper and parsley to taste
  • ½ cup labneh

directions

  1. Hard boil eggs by bringing a medium pot of water to boil, lowering the heat and cooking eggs for 9 minutes.
  2. Transfer eggs into an ice bath to stop the cooking.
  3. Toast slices of The Rustik Oven Hearty Grains & Seeds Bread.
  4. Combine za’atar and olive oil in a small bowl.
  5. Slice the red onion
  6. Spread the labneh on the bread and top with sliced hard boiled eggs, red onion, salt, pepper and parsley to taste.
  7. Drizzle oil and za’atar on top.
