ingredients

  • One loaf of The Rustik Oven Pane Italiano Bread
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 ½ cups half and half
  • 6 eggs
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla Greek yogurt
  • Powdered sugar

directions

  1. Combine butter, ½ cup of brown sugar and maple syrup into a microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave for 1 minute
  2. Spray a 13x9 oven-safe baking dish with non-stick cooking spray before pouring the butter mixture into the bottom of the pan
  3. Place each slice of The Rustik Oven Pan Italiano Bread into the baking pan
  4. Mix the remaining ½ cup of brown sugar, half and half, eggs, almond extract, vanilla extract and vanilla Greek yogurt in a medium-sized bowl
  5. Pour the mixture over the bread
  6. Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours
  7. After refrigeration, place the pan in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
  8. Top with powdered sugar
