- One loaf of The Rustik Oven Pane Italiano Bread
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 ½ cups half and half
- 6 eggs
- ¼ teaspoon almond extract
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons vanilla Greek yogurt
- Powdered sugar
directions
- Combine butter, ½ cup of brown sugar and maple syrup into a microwave-safe bowl and melt in the microwave for 1 minute
- Spray a 13x9 oven-safe baking dish with non-stick cooking spray before pouring the butter mixture into the bottom of the pan
- Place each slice of The Rustik Oven Pan Italiano Bread into the baking pan
- Mix the remaining ½ cup of brown sugar, half and half, eggs, almond extract, vanilla extract and vanilla Greek yogurt in a medium-sized bowl
- Pour the mixture over the bread
- Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours
- After refrigeration, place the pan in the oven and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
- Top with powdered sugar
